It’s been one of those kinds of days. You didn’t have one of the best days at work and now you’re running errands, children are screaming and you feel that there is NO time to just stop and breathe. We ALL have days like this. No one is exempt. Trust me on that. 😉
The next time you’re having a day like this, take 5 just for YOU. I want you to do the following exercise…promise it won’t take long.
Close your eyes. Start to breathe deep, pushing up from your belly and then out. Do this 5 times slowly. Then think about something that makes you happy…something that really, REALLY makes you happy. It could be a childhood memory, your wedding day, or even watching your pet play. Just breathe and re-live this precious memory. Does it make you feel happy? Yes, it does! Don’t allow that feeling to escape you the rest of the day.
