Fear of Change
by Rochelle Griffin
Change is something that tends to scare a lot of people, but the reality is that we live in a fluid, dynamic world where things are always changing…whether we like it or not. To succeed in life…in business…in health, we need to stop being afraid and learn how to navigate change.
If we refuse to change, we remain stuck & quite frankly, our relevance will decrease. For example, social media is constantly in a state of flux. If you are in business and refuse to learn and adapt, you are completely missing the boat.
Likewise, our body is always in a state of flux as well…depending on what we’ve eaten, how much sleep we are getting, what stress we are under. If we don’t learn to navigate this stuff & LISTEN to our body, our body breaks down, we feel like poop, & we aren’t effective in our day-to-day life.
Stop being stubborn. Stop being comfortable with being comfortable.
Yes, change can be scary. I get it. It used to scare the tar out of me. I had more irrational fears than you can imagine. (In my twenties, I used to be afraid of turning left when driving. I kid you not. Now I turn left with the best of them! <G>)
We MUST be willing to look those fears in the face and push past them. We MUST be willing to change. We must not allow fear to hold us hostage.
Change is the path to our VERY BEST future!
