The January Weight Gain Freak Out: I Weigh What?

Let’s talk serious. Many MANY people are now assessing the damage done from too much eating/drinking over the holiday season and are FREAKING out at their weight gain. I know because I’m seeing it all over my Facebook feed. Even 3 weeks into the new year, I’m still seeing it.

People, do NOT freak. I repeat DO NOT FREAK.

When you freak, you become desperate. When you are desperate, you look for quick (meaning unhealthy) ways to lose weight. These ways won’t last.

Take a deep breath. Remove emotion from the situation. Look at the reality of what you’re dealing with…ie. Gained x amount of weight.

Now make a plan.

If you don’t mind, I’m gonna help. I’ve done this for over 7 years, have helped thousands of people, & know what works.

Quick fix methods are a detriment to your health. I don’t care what they claim. It’s called marketing and they’re saying what you want to hear so they can make a buck.

Here’s what works: healthy nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress reduction, and patience.

I don’t mean to choose one of the five. I mean ALL of the components…working together.

Yep, I can hear you now…but Rochelle, you didn’t say anything earth shattering.

We all KNOW these things. Reality is that we just don’t want to do them.

As your coach, I’m not here to tell you what you want to hear. I’m here to tell you truth. I’m here to help you get healthy in a life-sustaining way.

Yes it’s hard. Yes it takes commitment. Yes it takes perseverance.

And YES, you have it in you to be Successful!
